Take your Google Slides presentations from the small screen to the big screen.

With TelemetryTV's Google Slides App you can sync up your personal Google Slides presentations to be displayed on screens anywhere in your office or classroom.

Setting up Google Slides

Navigate to the Playlists section from the main dashboard:

From the Apps menu to the right of the playlist preview, select the Google Slides App.

You can either scroll down to find the Google Slides App under "Productivity" or complete a search to pull up the app by using the search function in the bottom left corner.

When you select the app, you will be presented with a "properties" menu on the right.

First, give the app a name in the "Label" field.

Locating your slideshow URL

To find the URL, go to your Google Slides presentation in a different window. From Google Slides, go to File > Publish to the web > select "Publish".

Copy and paste the URL into the Google Slides App details section as seen above.

Configuring your Slideshow

  • Toggling on the "toolbar" option will show a toolbar with the slides count at the bottom of the display.

  • Enter a "Paginate Interval" to indicate how long you'd like each page to display before flipping to the next slide.

  • Select "start at once" to ensure your slideshow begins immediately.

  • Toggle on "loop slides" to set the slideshow to restart once it's played through. If not, it will remain on it's final slide until the fixed duration is over.

Once pasted, click on "Create" to preview your app.

Your Google Slides App is now ready to be displayed on any of your digital displays!

💡 Pro tip: When you add your Google Slides App as a playlist page, set the playlist page's fixed duration to [# of slides x paginate interval]. E.g. if you have 5 slides in your slideshow, with a 5 second paginate interval, set the fixed duration at 25 seconds. If there is no fixed duration set for the page, it will display the next playlist page when they slideshow is finished.
