Using the Persisting Sidebar Feature

The Persisting Sidebar Feature in TelemetryTV offers the capability to seamlessly display an app or media folder across various playlist pages, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted playback. If the same app or media folder appears on the subsequent page, the playback will persist without disruption, allowing for a smooth transition from one page to another. Here are the steps to use this feature:

Create a playlist and set the page duration. Duplicate the playlist page by clicking the "Duplicate" button, and repeat this process for as many pages as needed. Ensure that each playlist page contains the same app or media folder with the same options.

Please Note: To assign a media folder to an exclusive range of pages, users can duplicate the configurations for only the desired pages.

Media Folders and the Persisting Sidebar Feature

For Media Folders, the Persisting Side Bar Feature equips users with two choices: either enabling or disabling the "One At A Time" option.

When "One At A Time" is toggled on, each page will play only one piece of media per page from the start of the media folder until the end.

When "One At A Time" is toggled off, multiple items will be displayed on a single page or persistently play a single item across different pages. This depends on the "interval" setting in the Media Folder or the length of the videos within the folder (if any).

Summary

The Persisting Sidebar Media feature in TelemetryTV is a powerful tool for displaying content from a media folder across multiple playlist pages with uninterrupted playback.
