TelemetryTV has metrics.  These are variables that can be used by widgets within a board for display of data that may change in real time as it's updated.   Metrics may be simple strings, numbers or more complex objects.   They are expressed in JSON format to TelemetryTV through a simple REST API HTTPS POST.
